Crimson Desert - Complete Trembling Woods Puzzle Guide

Where to Find This Ruin

Region: Trembling Woods area in Hernand.
Landmark direction: North of Willow River and southeast of the early Hernand starting zone.
What to look for: A ruin chamber with a large mural and three wheel mechanisms.

Use the puzzle in this order: right wheel -> middle wheel -> left wheel.

Before touching anything, stand in front of the mural and identify three target icons:

Then solve it in this exact sequence:

Right wheel (background mural layer)
- Rotate until the mural itself is in the correct icon layout:
- Star upper-right, moon low, eclipse left.
- Do not worry about ring placement yet.
Middle wheel (large ring)
- Rotate the center mechanism until the largest ring sits cleanly over the large star.
- Stop as soon as the ring outlines the star shape; over-rotating here makes the last step feel wrong.
Left wheel (two medium rings)
- This side has no handles, so normal interaction will not work.
- Use Stab to jam your weapon into the wheel and rotate it.
- On keyboard/mouse, this is typically Shift + Right Mouse. On controller, use the mapped stab input (commonly RB + Y / Triangle, depending on layout).
- Your character must stab where the missing handle would be. If the stab does not catch, change your standing angle slightly and try again.
- Rotate until the two medium rings frame the moon and eclipse symbols.
Completion check
- If all layers are aligned, a small door opens in the gap below the platform.
- Drop down and collect the reward.
