The Hernand ruins date back to the First Age of Pywel. This specific puzzle was designed to protect the Heart of the Mountain.

Detailed Strategy
The beams are color-coded. Blue represents stability, while Red represents power. You must balance them perfectly.
Phase 1: Alignment
First, focus on the blue beam. It's the anchor for the entire mechanism. If the blue beam isn't locked, the red beam will fluctuate wildly.
Phase 2: Activation
Once both beams are steady, the central platform will begin to glow. This is your cue to step on the pressure plate.
Warning: Stepping on the plate too early will reset the pillars and spawn level 18 Sentinels.
